Frequently asked questions
What couples often ask us
How far in advance should we plan our honeymoon?
Ideally, start 6 to 10 months before the wedding, especially for long-haul destinations and for summer, Easter or long weekends. You'll find more availability at the hotels you want and better flight prices.
Can we combine more than one destination?
Yes, it's very common: for example, Tokyo and Kyoto with a few days on the beach, or Bali with the Maldives. We'll suggest the order, the internal flights and the days in each place so your trip never feels like a race.
Do hotels offer extras for newlyweds?
Many hotels offer honeymoon extras or perks, such as a bottle of cava, room decorations or a dinner. In the proposal we tell you which ones include them and what's usually required to get them, such as your marriage certificate.
What documents do we need?
It depends on the destination: a valid passport with the minimum validity the country requires and, in some cases, a visa or electronic travel authorisation. We'll set this out in the proposal and in your travel guide before you leave.
What if we need to change or cancel?
Conditions vary by service. We explain them in the proposal and recommend travel insurance with cancellation cover, which covers cancellation costs for the reasons set out in the policy.
